SEATTLE, Wash. – Richard Sherman has pleaded guilty in Seattle to two misdemeanor charges stemming from a drunken driving and domestic disturbance last summer, as part of an agreement that spares him further jail time.

The former member of the Legion of Boom was arrested last July after crashing his SUV in a construction zone and tried to break into his in-laws’ suburban Seattle home.

In addition to pleading guilty Monday, March 7th, to first-degree negligent driving and second-degree criminal trespass, he admitted to speeding in a roadway construction zone.

The current Tampa Bay Buccaneer says he’s “deeply remorseful” for his actions.
