BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Police arrested a Bellingham man after being accused of molesting his step-daughter in 2020
Court documents show that 42-year-old Joseph Ian Mexican was arrested on March 10.
The child disclosed the crimes in 2021 after her biological father noticed she was having issues in school.
She told police that Mexican had inappropriately touched her and showed her videos of pornography on his phone.
Mexican has been charged for child molestation and incest, as well as disclosing intimate images.
He is out on $50,000 bail.
