BLAINE, Wash. – Several Whatcom County businesses were recognized for their excellence in a gala event last Thursday, March 24th.
The 35th annual Whatcom Business Awards event was held at the Semiahmoo Resort and sold out to 325 guests.
360 Modular Building systems was named Start-Up of the Year and Van Beek Drywall won Small Business of the Year.
In addition, John Huntley of Mills Electric won Business Person of the Year and Gary Honcoop from Roosendaal-Honcoop Construction won the Whatcom Lifetime Business Achievement award.
The event was put on by Business Pulse and the Whatcom Business Alliance.
