BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A man is behind bars this morning after threatening to light a woman’s face on fire in Bellingham.
Police records state that the man, identified as 60-year-old Steven Ogle, began threatening staff members at a downtown business Monday morning, April 4th.
He held a lit lighter to an employee’s face, threatening to burn it off.
Witnesses said that Ogle had been causing issues at other businesses earlier in the day.
Later in the day, Ogle was also cited for stealing keys and shoplifting from another downtown business.
He remains in custody at the South Correctional Entity in Des Moines, Washington.
