BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Looking for something to do this weekend: How does lunch, gardening, and support for dementia services sound?
The Purple Flamingo food truck is opening this Friday, April 15th, at My Garden Nursery in Bellingham.
Nursery owner Jenny Gunderson says the truck will help her raise money for Dementia Support Northwest.
She says they’ve raised over $100,000 for multiple Alzheimer’s and dementia organizations since 2006.
The food truck will serve sandwiches, soup, salads and coffee.
The Purple Flamingo will be open seven days a week at 929 East Bakerview Road.
