BLAINE, Wash. – Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for three suspects after a Blaine man was robbed at gunpoint Monday night, April 11th, by strangers who claimed to have had car trouble.
Sheriff’s spokesperson Deb Slater says two women in surgical masks knocked on the door of the man’s Kickerville Road home.
They said their car broke down and asked to use his phone.
Shortly after he invited them in a masked man with a gun appeared and one of the two women also produced a firearm.
The trio forced the man to the floor and ransacked the house, grabbing electronics, cash and guns before running off.
Investigators are still searching for the suspects.
