SUDDEN VALLEY, Wash. – A woman faces an assault charge for pulling a loaded handgun on a man who was backing into his driveway.
Whatcom Superior Court records state that 67-year-old Jennifer Dubrow was walking near the man’s home south of Sudden Valley on April 6th.
The man was returning home with a shipment in his van and began backing into his driveway.
Dubrow pulled the gun and pointed it at him, causing him to duck for cover then run into his house.
She told responding deputies that she feared he was trying to run her over and pulled the gun in self defense.
But deputies didn’t find any evidence to support that after reviewing surveillance video of the incident from a nearby residence.
