WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Masks are now optional on WTA buses.
The Whatcom County transit agency says it’s joining other public carriers in dropping the mask mandate.
Masks will still be offered to riders and some operators will continue wearing masks.
The WTA thanks all riders for their patience during the pandemic.
