BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Police took a sex offender off the streets late last week.
The Department said in a social media post that the suspect, identified in jail bookings as 24-year-old Johnathan Alex, was located at a hotel on Samish Way Friday afternoon, April 22nd.
He was taken into custody and remains behind bars at the Whatcom County Jail.
Alex faces several charges, including two counts of rape.
Bellingham Police added that Alex has a history of sexual assault arrests.
