BLAINE, Wash. – It’s now easier for families with young children to cross the border into Canada.
CTV reports a pre-entry COVID test is no longer required for partially or unvaccinated children ages 5 to 11 who are traveling with a fully vaccinated parent or guardian.
Children under five are also not required to undergo a test.
Partially or unvaccinated travelers 12 and older still have to present a negative test.
Travelers will still have to wear masks on public transportation in Canada including trains and airplanes.
