WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a woman suspected of robbing a person at gunpoint at a Whatcom County gas station Friday night.
Her driver was also well known to officers.
Siara Carrazco, 29, of Ferndale was a passenger in a car that fled an attempted stop by Lynden Police on Monday afternoon.
Sheriff’s deputies followed the car down Hannegan and west on Wiser Lake Road, making a couple attempts to stop it.
The driver saw officers with spike strips waiting at the Guide Meridian, turned onto a private driveway and crashed at the end of it.
Carrazco was arrested on suspicion of first degree robbery for pulling a gun and holding up a customer pumping gas at a station at Hannegan and Pole Road.
The man driving the car, 30-year-old Aaron Nerkins of Ferndale, was also arrested.
He had also been taken into custody just last Thursday while driving with a man wanted by the Department of Corrections in his vehicle.
