BELLINGHAM, Wash. – An 18-year-old Bellingham man faces a number of charges after he crashed an SUV into two buildings early Sunday, May 1st.

Bellingham Police say Conner R. Mosher was drunk when he crashed into the Savi Bank building at Meridian and Gerard just after 2 a.m.

The Toyota 4-Runner he was driving then left the ground, crashed through a window and became lodged inside Joanna’s Salon.

He fled the scene but was captured by an officer several blocks away.

He told officers that his vehicle lost a tire near East Smith and Everson Goshen Roads but he kept driving into the city.

He had brass knuckles in his pocket which brought a weapons charge along with DUI, minor under the influence and hit-and-run charges.
