WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Gas prices across the country have been breaking records all week.
AAA reports on their website that the average price for a gallon in Whatcom County is now a whopping $4.90.
Earlier this week, the county broke a record set back in March, with prices averaging $4.81 on Monday, May 9th.
Washington’s not seeing a reprieve either.
The state average is hovering around $4.92.
Unfortunately, there’s not a single area in the state that’s even close to the national average, currently clocking in at $4.43 for a gallon.
