BELLINGHAM, Wash. – You can learn about marine job opportunities at Bellingham’s waterfront this Thursday, May 19th.
Thirty-five marine trades companies will offer jobs and internships at the Port’s Marine Trades Job and Internship Fair.
It’ll run from noon to 4 p.m. at the new Fishermen’s Pavilion next to Zuanich Point Park.
Some companies, like Bellingham Cold Storage, are offering signing bonuses to new workers.
Working Waterfront Program Manager Deb Granger says it’s a chance to learn about the “exciting, and well-paying jobs right here on our shores or on our waters.
