BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham International Airport has been awarded over $2.9 million from the Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG).
The grant will help fund a project to reconfigure Taxiway F to better meet FAA design standards.
Also receiving funding from the grant are Sea-Tac and Jefferson County International Airports who will also use the money for projects bringing them up to FAA standards.
The grant is part of the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which allocated $25 billion for aviation infrastructure improvements.
