MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – A four-year-old girl is recovering after being attacked by a dog in Mount Vernon.
Police say the girl was visiting her grandfather at his home on North 30th Street on Monday afternoon, June 6th.
She was in the garage when a neighbor’s dog entered and attacked her.
The dog bit her on the face and shoulder and her grandfather was bitten on a hand when he intervened.
The girl was reported in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
The mixed-breed dog has been quarantined while an investigation continues.
