KOMO reports three dogs from Washington state are finalists for the American Humane Hero Dog Awards.
Keb and Lincoln are nominated in the the search-and-rescue dog category.
And Sherman Gephard, who had to have a leg amputated but still helps his owner with PTSD, is up in the service dog category.
The Hero Dog Awards is an annual event honoring dogs who save lives and help humans achieve their goals.
Online voting is open to the public until July 22nd.
