MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – A transient man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Mount Vernon late last week.
Mount Vernon Police said in a social media post that a 48-year-old man was stabbed on Friday afternoon, June 17th.
The victim told officers that the suspect, 24-year-old Chazz Orcutt, fled the area after the assault.
Orcutt was located by police on Saturday, and remains behind bars at the Skagit County Jail.
