The Seattle Seahawks acquired Jamal Adams in 2020 in exchange for safety Bradley McDougald, two first-round picks and a third-round pick. Last summer, the Seahawks gave Adams a record-breaking $70 million contract extension.

Adams has missed time during each of his first two seasons with the Hawks, competing in only 12 games in 2020 as well as 12 games last season. He battled labrum and finger issues.

On Wednesday, Adams participated in the first practice of camp, but didn’t quite feel right afterwards in his surgically repaired fingers. There was no timetable set for his return, but it appears he plans to play through the pain.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Adams will wear a club to practice and he’ll be equipped with a special cast on gamedays.
