BLAINE, Wash. – The City of Blaine is eagerly awaiting what they have announced as their 1st Annual Oyster Fest, set to take place Saturday, October 8th.
The event will be hosted in part by the Drayton Harbor Oyster Company and will feature an Oyster cook-off with local restaurants, live entertainment, street vendors, and oyster shucking and slurping contests.
It’s all happening at H Street & Peace Portal Drive in downtown Blaine and organizers are hoping the locally-focused festival will be the first of many more to come.
