LYNDEN, Wash. – Thanksgiving is on the horizon and that means it is turkey drive time.
Lynden’s Brown and Brown is hosting its 11th annual Turkey Drive now through November 11th to help Whatcom County families this holiday season.
Brown and Brown will match contributions of $20 for each turkey donated, for the first 100 turkeys.
The birds will be given to families in need by the Bellingham Food Bank and Project Hope Food Bank.
The company says last year they were able to give two tons of turkeys to local families.
Checks payable to Brown and Brown can be mailed to 501 Front St., Lynden, WA 98264 or dropped off at that location between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
