BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Western Washington University is welcoming its largest first-year class in school history.

3,225 new students enrolled this fall quarter, following a dip in enrollment due to COVID over the past two years.

Their Honors College received a record number of applications as well.

Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management Shelli Soto says overall enrollment remains below pre-pandemic levels, but they are excited about the growing interest in the opportunities Western offers.
