The Seattle Seahawks announced that they have released cornerback Sidney Jones IV.

Jones played college football at Washington before being drafted in the 2nd round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Seahawks traded a 6th round pick for Jones in 2021. He played all 16 games for the Hawks in 2021, totaling 59 tackles and 10 pass defenses. Jones appeared in only two games for the Hawks this season.
