FERNDALE, Wash. – A Ferndale man is in custody after sexually assaulting a woman and refusing to let her leave.
Court documents state that the suspect had the victim drive him to his home on November 14th.
When she refused to go into his home, the suspect took her phone and keys and smashed her driver’s side window with a cane.
The suspect physically and sexually assaulted her in the home before eventually giving her belongings back and letting her leave.
Police arrested the suspect, 31-year-old Nelson Montenegro, on Friday, November 18th.
