MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – Mount Vernon Police now believe a mother is on the run with her daughter who’s accused of kidnapping a foster child.
Police announced last month that 35-year-old Amanda M. Dinges of Mount Vernon was suspected of leaving the area with the 5-year-old boy who had been placed in her care.
An arrest warrant has now been issued for her 60-year-old mother, Amber Lyn Dinges.
Both women are wanted on kidnapping charges.
Their whereabouts are unknown, but police have said they don’t believe the boy is in imminent danger.
