BELLINGHAM, WA. – Puget Sound Energy customers could see a significant cut in their energy bills this winter.

PSE announced on Tuesday, October 3rd, that they filed a Purchased Gas Adjustment with the Washington State Utilities and Transportation Commission.

That would allow PSE to account for changes in the price of natural gas in the wholesale market when they bill customers.

If approved, the adjustment would decrease natural gas rates by nearly 25% on average starting next month.

The average bill of a residential customer in November would fall from $99 to $77 after the change, according to PSE.
