BELLINGHAM, WA. – (KGMI.com) Whatcom County businesses that were affected by the Sourdough Fire are now eligible for disaster aid.
The U.S. Small Business Administration recently announced that several western Washington counties, including Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan, are eligible for its low-interest disaster loans.
Small businesses and private non-profits who were financially impacted by the Sourdough Fire can apply for up to $2 million in aid.
The loans will be set at a 4% interest rate that is repayable over 30 years.
