SPOKANE, WASH. (AP) – A Spokane high school football coach accused of exposing himself to players last summer has been relieved of his coaching duties.
The school district and law enforcement are investigating Ferris High School football coach Jim Sharkey.
At least three football players say he exposed himself as he was grilling hot dogs and hamburgers at a camp in Idaho.
Sharkey denies the allegations.
“All I can say is that we’re confident when that when this is completed, Coach Skarkey will again be vindicated of the accusations that have been levied against him,” Sharkey’s lawyer, Bevan Maxey says to KREM TV.
The coach remains on paid administrative leave from his teaching job.
