BLAINE, WASH – An Iranian-born Canadian arrested at a Blaine border crossing is accused of sending missile testing equipment to Iran.
Ghobad Ghasempour was taken into custody on Tuesday.
The Seattle PI reports he’s charged with conspiring to ship a device used to calibrate missile guidance systems to Iran.
Federal prosecutors say two other men helped Ghasempour smuggle restricted items out of the U.S. to Iran through China.
The other men haven’t been charged yet.
