BELFAIR, WASH. (AP) — A homeowner could face a murder charge after he shot and killed a home intruder who was taking a shower.
Police say the homeowner in Belfair, in Mason County, went to check on his property next to his home when he found the man taking a shower.
Detectives say the homeowner exchanged words with the man then went back to his home, got a gun and returned and shot the intruder multiple times through the shower curtain.
He was arrested for investigation of second-degree murder.
