YAKIMA, WASH. (AP) – A pair of men in Yakima escape from the county jail.
The Yakima County Department of Corrections says both were held on charges out of Idaho.
Officers searched the facility Tuesday and found the locking mechanism failed for a door leading from a recreational yard to the outside.
A search of the surrounding area did not turn up the inmates.
