SEATTLE (AP)- King County public health officials say a man died of hantavirus in February and a woman is currently hospitalized with symptoms consistent with the rare disease.
Hantavirus is spread by rodents – mostly deer mice.
The Health department says people need to take extra caution when cleaning areas contaminated by mice and other rodents.
