The Seahawks announced their 2017 preseason schedule on Monday. To open the preseason Seattle will visit the new home of the Chargers, who relocated from San Diego to Los Angeles this offseason. The Hawks then come home for back-to-back games at CenturyLink Field starting with the Minnesota Vikings, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs. Seattle will wrap up preseason play in Oakland against the Raiders. That game will make it 12 straight years the Seahawks and Raiders have faced each other in the fourth and final week of the preseason.

The only game to have a set date and time is Seattle’s Week 3 match-up with the Chiefs. Seattle will host Kansas City Friday, August 25 with a 5:00pm kick-off. The other dates and time will be released in the coming weeks when the NFL announces the 2017 regular season schedule.

According to Seahawks.com, the Hawks Preseason week 1 game against the Chargers will be the Chargers’ first game in the L.A. area since 1960, and will be the first-ever NFL game played at Carson, California’s StubHub Center, a 30,000-seat venue that’s home of Major League Soccer’s LA Galaxy.
