EVERETT, Wash – A Mount Vernon woman is accused of hitting an officer with her car.
Police say Vanessa Cuevas hit Everett Police Officer Mark Smith twice with her car.
Smith says he spotted Cuevas in her car as she appeared to be preparing to use drugs.
He asked her to step out, but says she refused and backed into him.
He says she hit him again as she took off.
