SEATTLE, Wash (AP) – Two Los Angeles-based companies are vying to remake Seattle’s Key Arena into an entertainment venue that’s ready for an NBA and/or NHL team.
The Seattle Times says Oak View Group and AEG want to renovate The Key for basketball, hockey and concerts.
The city council will decide whether to move forward with one of the Key Arena proposals or go with a new arena south of downtown pitched by investor Chris Hansen.
