The Washington State Patrol has issued a warrant for a man who fled from an early morning car crash without assisting injured passengers.
Luciano Ailon-Garcia was driving a green, 2004 Ford Explorer eastbound on Pole Road on August 28, 2016, around 5AM.
Ailon-Garcia was traveling at an extremely high rate of speed when he failed to turn with the road. The vehicle traveled off the roadway, coming to rest in a raspberry field.
Georgianna James died at the scene. A second passenger suffered fractures to his ribs as a result of the collision.
Ailon-Garcia fled the collision scene on foot.

A felony warrant has been issued for Ailon-Garcia for Hit and Run Death, Vehicular Homicide and Vehicular Assault.
Detectives believe Ailon-Garcia might still live in Whatcom County.

The State Patrol advises not to try to approach the suspect.
