Seattle Seahawks restricted free agent offensive lineman Garry Gilliam signed an offer sheet with the San Francisco 49ers Monday. According to multiple reports the tender is for a 1-year deal after the the 4th year pro turned down a multiple year offer from the 49ers last week
Seattle now has five days to match the offer. If the Seahawks do not match the offer, they will lose Gilliam to a divisional rival without compensation.
Gilliam has played in 44 games with 13 starts for Seattle over three years. The Seahawks offered Gilliam the lowest tender of $1.797 million back in March.
