LUMMI RESERVATION, Wash. – Deputies say a Whatcom County man tried to attack five men with a machete on the Lummi Reservation Saturday.
Court documents say Charles Crawford was speeding through the Sandy Point Heights neighborhood and one of the men confronted him.
Charging papers say Crawford got angry and left, but later came out of the woods with a machete and chased the men.
Deputies arrested him and say he kicked out the window of the patrol car on the way to the jail.
He’s facing eight different charges.
