The 8th annual “Fun with the Fuzz 5K Race” starts at 9:00 Saturday morning at the Bellingham Police Department.
Mount Vernon Police Officer Mike McClaughry is participating.
He was critically injured in a December shooting in Mount Vernon.
The goal of the race is to raise donations and awareness for the Behind the Badge Foundation.
It honors officers who suffered a line of duty death or catastrophic injury.
