Bellingham, WASH – Marchers in Bellingham took part in the nationwide March for Science movement Saturday.
Bellingham police on Twitter estimated the crowd size at 2,000.
Participants gathered at city hall at noon, heard speeches from a Western Washington University professor andĀ a formerĀ astronaut, marched downtown streets and held a science fair.
No incidents or arrests were reported.
Marches were held in an estimated 500 cities nationwide, including Seattle.
