BLAINE, WASH. – Drivers of 18-wheelers might not be able to cross the border quite as quickly for the next few days.
Construction at the truck crossing in Blaine could cause longer wait times Thursday through the weekend.
Loaded trucks can use the Sumas crossing and empty trucks can use either the Lynden or Sumas crossings.
Starting in May, construction in the bus and passenger lanes could slow things down again.
