BELLINGHAM, Wash. – It’s almost 40 years in prison for a Whatcom County rapist and kidnapper.
Edmund Olivas Junior abducted and sexually assaulted three women.
He pleaded guilty earlier and was sentenced to nearly 39 years behind bars.
A woman Olivas kidnapped in February of 2015 managed to escape, but two 18-year-olds he abducted in May of last year weren’t as fortunate.
He raped them as he drove around for hours.
He finally dropped them off on the side of a road near Sumas.
