The Seattle Mariners have traded minor league pitcher Casey Fien to the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for cash considerations. Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced the move Tuesday.

Fien’s contract was outrighted to Tacoma on May 3.

The 33-year-old, right-hander made 6 relief appearances with the Mariners this season, posting a 15.00 ERA with 6 strikeouts and 4 walks. He went 0-1 with a 3.38 ERA in 5 outings in two separate stints with Tacoma this year.
