BLAINE, WASH. – Watch out for a bear in Blaine.
A young 250 pound black bear was spotted Monday night.
It was meandering in and out of the street near Odell and Pipeline Roads.
Blaine police say the bear wasn’t threatening anyone or doing any damage.
Officers and Border Patrol agents kept an eye on the animal as it headed out of town.
Police say to keep garbage containers secure and small pets indoors.
If you see a bear, police say you should dial 911 and report its whereabouts, but don’t approach, harass or attempt to corral it.
