According to ESPN.com, Seattle running back Eddie Lacy weighed in at 253 pounds today, earning himself a $55,000 bonus from his team. The Seahawks awarded Lacy with the bonus for being under 255 pounds. Lacy’s agent tweeted the results of the weigh-in.
Lacy’s contract contains seven potential weight bonuses according to ESPN, worth a total of $385,000. June 12 is the next weigh in according to a league source and Lacy must be at 250 pounds or less. He also needs to maintain 250 pounds or less on August 1. Lacy will then be weighed once a month from September to December, needing to weigh 245 pounds or less to earn those bonuses.
