BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man who sexually assaulted a young woman is going to prison for three years.
He was sentenced on Monday.
The woman accused Richard Starkey of molesting her several times when she was a little girl and again recently as a young adult.
Starkey entered an Alford Plea, which means a jury would likely find him guilty.
When the 51-year-old is finished with his prison sentence, he’ll be forced to register as a sex offender.
