According to ESPN, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reached an agreement with veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. The team made the announcement Friday. According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, it is a one-year deal with $3 million.
Fitzpatrick, 34, started 116 games over 12 NFL seasons. He will be the backup in Tampa to starter Jameis Winston. Fitzpatrick spent the last two years with the New York Jets. The Bucs will be the seventh NFL team Fitzpatrick has spent time with.
