The Lynden and Meridian baseball teams both had their season co e to an end Saturday in regional round action of the state tournament.
In the 2A ranks, the Lions were shutout 2-0 by Tumwater in Auburn. Lynden finishes the year with a 19-and-4 record.
In 1A play, the Trojans lost to Seattle Christian 6-to-4 in Anacortes. Meridian finishes the season 13-and-12.
The Anacortes Seahawks advanced to the 2A State semifinals next weekend in Yakima with a 4-3 win over Fife and a 4-0 shutout of Liberty.
