A handful of Whatcom County prep golfers advanced to second day action at three different state tournaments. In Class 3A Dane Larsen of Ferndale shot a 78 to advance in Richland.
In Class 2A four Bellingham High golfers moved on in Spokane. Zach Nolan and Jonny Larson advanced on the boys side and Sophia Schmidt and Jada French moved on on the girls side.
In Class 1A in Pasco Jake DeYoung of Lynden Christian shot a 73, good enough for ninth place.
