LAKEWOOD, Wash. (AP) – Prosecutors say a patient went on a rampage and assaulted four people at the state’s largest psychiatric hospital.
The News Tribune reports the 38-year-old man was in court Wednesday and ordered held at Western State Hospital for a mental evaluation.
Charging documents say he began arguing with another patient Tuesday before speaking nonsense and head-butting a nurse in the stomach.
He then picked her up and threw her across the room where she was knocked unconscious.
He attacked three others before he was restrained.
